Brian S. Economy, retired U.S. Navy Master EOD Technician and Limited Duty Officer, founded Emerald State Environmental to bring disciplined explosive ordnance expertise into environmental contracting. With more than 37 years of leadership in Navy EOD, federal programs, and executive management, he has commanded high‑risk organizations and overseen complex remediation portfolios. 

Brian's background in CBRN operations, explosive safety oversight, logistics lifecycle management, and instructor training shapes our culture of risk control, regulatory alignment, and clear communication. Under his direction, we maintain mission focus, protect personnel and communities, and deliver environmental remediation and UXO response that withstands technical and audit scrutiny.
